So what's the verdict on the dolphins in The Hollies garden?

Over the weekend the black railway planter, which was a reminder of Midsomer Norton's mining past,  was replaced by two wire dolphins frolicking in the waves.

What do you think? Is it an improvement or out of place? Let us know

Totally agreeing with "lesleywaine" - Would have totally blown the town's chances at Britain In Bloom, or whatever, it's called !

Have seen similar features in other towns - lions, elephants and the like - actually they look quite good when they're done properly, infact I'm sure I remember seeing the dolphins somewhere on a roundabout or in a park in Bath a number of years ago ? Perhaps they sought freedom and swam up the River Somer ? Midsomer Norton's a much nicer place after all ! I hope they come back one day......

Anybody heard how Midsomer Norton got on in the Bloom thing ? We should've heard something by now should'nt we ??

What happened to the Hippy dolphins? Rightdecision to get rid of them before inspectyiopn by Britain in Bloom. Would have ended up with yet another Silver Gilt instead of Gold if they were still there., Radstock yet again hammer Midsomer Norton on Britain in Bloom.

likes avoni's comment and I do know something you can look at in Norton apparently every 3rd friday on the month at 10pm just looking over the top of the town hall you will see the moon do a little 'night fever' boogie
