A man died after a reported collision with a car in Radstock.

The incident happened at about 4.20am yesterday on the A367, near to the Bath Road service station hand car wash.

It is believed the male pedestrian was lying in the road when they were hit by a vehicle travelling along the road.

The man was later confirmed dead at the scene.
