Midsomer Norton High Street accident con?

I'm not sure what's going on in Midsomer Norton's HIgh Street. Yesterday I was onboard a bus that hit a car parked at the top of the High Street and today, I see a man accuse a woman of hitting him as she was exiting a space outside Lloyds Pharmacy across from Lidl's and she was no where near him! He quickly exited the scene, but I wonder how many accidents occur on cars parallel parking along Midsomer Norton's High Street? And how many are real and how many are just opportunists.
