Amateur radio enthusiasts called up railway buffs all over Britain from the platform of Midsomer Norton Railway Station at the weekend.
Members of the South Bristol Amateur Radio Club set up a station at Midsomer Norton as part of a Railways on Air event and managed to make 69 contacts.
Over the weekend they spoke to amateur radio enthusiasts from venues including the Lappa Railway in Cornwall, Crewe Heritage Centre, the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway and the Ribble Steam Railway.
Commercial director Shirley Steel said the event had been very successful.
She said: "We were very pleased to host the station for the weekend.
"We had a lot of visitors who were interested in amateur radio listening in."
