Failed car thief jailed for 12 weeks

A man from Midsomer Norton who admitted trying to steal four cars parked in residential roads in the town has been sentenced to 12 weeks in prison.

Damian Witcombe, 21, of Redland Terrance, unsuccessfully attempted to steal four cars over two days in November last year.

He appeared before magistrates in Bristol on December 17 where he was convicted and sentenced.
