Anyone got their new blue bag for cardboard? Is it me or is it much, much too big? How much cardboard does the council think i use?

    It needs to be big....otherwise it's going to  be blown away in the wind! Make sure you put your address on it, as I gather we only get the one!

    By the look of things most of them blew away in the storms last weekend.
    I doubt it many will still be in use in a few weeks.  I notice the rules about cutting large boxes down to small pieces before putting them out.  How many are going to bother to do that?  If the collectors refuse large boxes even if flattened then that's only going to encourage yet more flytipping.  Collecting stuff for recycling is all most commendable but the authorities need to keep realistic about how the stuff is prepared otherwise people aren't going to be bothered.

    Yep, mine in is in the garage. And that's where I think it will stay, probably forever. Another example of B&NES not asking us what would suit people best?
    And I wonder how long before we all get food scraps bins to attract rats with?
