Friendly Art Group in Midsomer Norton

After a break of two years, the Somer Artists Group is to be re-launched.

The two-hour weekly sessions will start at 3.15 on Monday 18th February. A varied programme has been prepared, including subject ideas for each week, although members are free to pursue their own projects if they prefer. Future events will include demonstrations and workshops, outdoor painting sessions, end of term competitions with a small prize, and exhibitions of members' work.

The group is aimed at people of all abilities and will offer a supportive environment both to complete beginners and to more experienced artists. Visitors will also be welcome to attend individual sessions on payment of a small contribution towards costs, and tea and coffee will be freely available at meetings.
