In the Bath and North East Somerset Council elections it looks as if the Lib Dems benefited as they gained three seats while the Tories lost three.

The new council will consist of 29 Conservatives, 29 Lib Dems, five Labour and two independents.

The Conservatives won hands down in  Midsomer Norton North with Barry MacRae being re-elected and newly elected Michael Evans  and again the Tories ranked first with Paul Myers being newly elected and Chris Watt re-elected to Midsomer Norton Redfield.
