Romantic meals in Midsomer Norton

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and there are some perfect places in Midsomer Norton to share a romantic night out.
The Moody Goose at The Old Priory in Church Square is ideal for a quiet meal for two. With a roaring fire in the Inglenook fireplace and canapes before dinner, it offers an intimate, relaxed setting. The food too is wonderfully delicious and there’s a good selection of quality wine.
You might like to try Number 6 which is located on the Island as it is offering a special Valentine’s menu. In a relaxed contemporary setting, you can enjoy a range of tasty food which is guaranteed to make that certain someone feel very special.
If you’re tastes lean towards the more exotic you may want to try the Balti Restaurant and Sweet Chillies . Both offer delicious Indian cuisine and you are free to bring your own alcohol if you like.
There’s also Cubros at The Centurion Hotel which offers a mouth-watering menu in a romantic setting overlooking the Mendip Hills.
There are a few places to enjoy a meal just outside Midsomer Norton that are worth mentioning. I particularly like The Fromeway in Radstock; Somerset Wagon in Chilcompton; Jolliffe Arms in Kilmersdon, and The White Post in Stratton on the Fosse.
If you have a favourite place to dine or can recommend a great place for Valentine’s Day, let us know and do leave a review in our business directory.

ReportWhat about the King's Arms in Stratton on the Fosse. Best pub food around. Curry night on Monday and Fish and Chips night on Friday. Cone of Fish and Chips for a fiver.
