Well it’s back to work but if the summer holiday has taken its toll and you need just a day or so for some “me time” there’s plenty of places in Midsomer Norton to get just that. Here’s a few of my favourite places to go and if you’ve been to any do click on the links and leave of a review on our business directory.

My favourite place to go for a massage and facial and general body maintenance is Revive in Church Square.  This beauty salon is a small operation as it’s run by Katie Harris, but she is big on service. Katie offers top notch therapies and she won’t give you a hard sale. The therapy room is relaxing and an ideal getaway. I love the Dermalogic products and ofcourse you can get anything from a pedicure to a bikini wax.  My favourites are the anti-aging facial and head and shoulder massage. You can contact Katie on 01761 414004.

I too have tried out therapies at the Positive Living Centre. Here I had a course of reflexology which was both soothing and reassuring, however there are alot of other therapies on offer.

Val Hurle provides a range of beauty treatments and hairdressing form me and women and even offers wedding packages, non-surgical facelifts, peels as well as massag and reflexology. I had a non-surgical facelift treatment by her when staying at Ston Easton and can definitely recommend her. She can be contacted on 01761 436 764.

You may think I’m a beauty junkie as another place I frequent is Midsummer Heath and Tanning . Here you can get a range of treatments from tanning to Hollywood glam eyelashes. I’ve had them both, and the service is second to none as it’s friendly and good value for money as it offer money-saving specials throughout the year.

The Works   next to Sainsburys offers a wide range of relaxing treatments as well as Botox,  and Rejeverderm. I haven’t had either of those yet, but have had a relaxing facial there.

One place I haven’t tried but hope to review someday is Ling-Chi Holistic Therapies It offers reflexology, acupuncture, gift vouchers, sports injuries, mobile therapist, aromatherapy, reiki, pain relief, hot stone massage, massage therapist

And the Centurion Hotel  is home to the  Green Apple which offers you a place to  revive restore and renew. I’m sure if it’s anything like the leisure centre it will be a treat.

I’m sure there’s more beauty places I’ve missed out, so let me know what your favourite places to go for treatment are. And if you’ve been to any of the above businesses do click on the links and leave a review.
