With the decline of first-time buyers economists fear there will be a  further drop in house prices.

Home owners are now being advised to accept offers of 10 per cent below the asking price to sell their properties and according to a recent article in the Telegraph,  estate agents are the gloomiest they have been about the housing market for 18 months.

Needless to say after looking at the property prices in my area of Midsomer Norton, I’m feeling rather gloomy too.

Having bought a property at the height of the property boom just nearly six years ago,  I now see that  Zoopla.co.uk  rates the properties on my street around £17,000 less than what we paid, which is about a 10 per cent drop, so if I wanted to sale would I have to drop it another 10 per cent?

At the moment if you’re in a position to buy or if you need to sell, there are a number of properties available in Midsomer Norton.

You can either check our  website  or visit  one of the many local estate agents.

The town has a number of estate agents including: Barons Property Centre , Bishop & Co, County Properties, Michael Gould, Rogers & Co , Geoffrey Smith,

If you want to see what your house is worth check out Zoopla. Fingers crossed it will be good news!
