Manhole and drain covers are being stolen and sold for scrap
Motorists and pedestrians are being warned to be careful after more than 30 man-hole covers were stolen in towns and villages near Midsomer Norton.
The thefts occurred in Frome, Mells and Nunny and it is believed they will be sold for their scrap metal value.
Members of the public are to be cautious and report any suspicious activity.
