UFO spotted near Midsomer Norton

Did anyone see any UFOs flying around Midsomer Norton last Thursday?

Seems like one was spotted at 7.30pm in Farrington Gurney. 

The account and pictures were logged by Geoff Ward on the UK UFO Sightings website. 

He wrote: “A comet-shaped object moved rapidly in a straight line across the sky roughly from north-east to south-west. My wife spotted the object overhead as we and a friend were driving along the A37. We pulled over and took photographs. As the object neared the horizon, it suddenly changed course, swinging to the north-west, and disappeared into a bank of dark cloud, leaving a curving trail behind.

“No craft at the rounded head of the formation could be seen with the naked eye or in the photographs. The truncated tail seemed odd, as the vapour trails of high-flying jets are left stretching right across the sky.”

Several writers to the website have dismissed it as a UFO claiming it was from an aircraft and or a condensation trail.
