Today, the Met Office has issued a weather warning for Bath and Midsomer Norton area today as a  band of sleet and snow will spread northeastwards through the morning. Accumulations of 5 to 10 cm are expected in many places with locally 15 cm over high ground. 

The public are advised to take extra care and refer to the Highways Agency for further advice on traffic disruption on motorways and trunk roads.
