Westbury Youth Tigers U11 3 Frome Town U11 7

Frome Town U11s eased past Westbury Youth Tigers in a friendly on Saturday morning.

Cory put them ahead from long range early on and Marcus doubled soon the lead, only for Frome to fall asleep at two set-pieces to allow the hosts to level the scores.

Luke's individual goal restored Frome's lead and Marcus added goals either side of half-time to complete his hat-trick.

Two more for Luke ensured he also finished with a treble and Frome hit the woodwork three times before Westbury got a late consolation.

Man of the match was Cory Plumridge.

Derry Hill U8 v Frome Town U8

The first match between Derry Hill and Frome Town U8s was an entertaining affair.

Torin supplied an excellent cross for Joe to score Frome's first goal, while the defence and midfield were well marshalled by Josh, Harvey and Will.

Solly had a great debut up front alongside Alex and Fin, with the latter also getting on the scoresheet.

Frome Town Youth U12s are looking for new players from Year 7 to join their team.

They train from 6-7pm on Fridays on the artificial pitch at Frome Leisure Centre and play weekly matches in the Midsomer Norton & District Youth League.

The first six weeks are free. For more information, contact Julie Peet on 07738 905940 or frometownyouthfc@gmail.com.
