Council offers walking to fitness programme for Midsomer Norton and Radstock residents

Getting fit seems to be on everyone’s list of New Year’s resolutions and B&NES is doing its part to help by offering Walking to Fitness courses.

The courses are more than a stroll in the park and aim to improve fitness levels.

In Midsomer Norton the course will start on January 9 on Saturdays  from  9.30am to 10.15am and will start in South Road car park.

In Radstock the course will begin on January 14 and take place on  Thursdays from 12.45pm – 1.30pm. Meet outside the Tea and Trade tearooms.

The six-week course costs £25 and must be booked through th Council’s Sport and Active Leisure Team. They are for anyone aged 13 and over, but youngster under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
