Late night opening in Midsomer Norton is an opportunity for local people to shop dine, and unwind in their local community rather than taking their business to the big guys! It's time we all realised the importance of keeping the local high street alive with the individuality of small traders! The people who don't support local traders will be the first to complain when supermarkets are the only shopping experience for every need from clothing, homewares and electricals to everyday groceries! People would never get off the laptop to shop for anything then!
Still have your shopping trips but keep the high street alive, just take a look at what's available and be suprised!

Hours are from 5 until approximately 8pm. If people are shopping then I'm sure all involved will stay open until the last wonderful member of the community leaves! And yes Carla we were all open until 8pm last night.

There have been posters on Mojo, Jacarandas and Ling-Chi Holistic's windows and signs for the past couple of weeks, details posted on facebook and past customers contacted.

Caps were used as it was intended to look more like a notice than a conversation. Traders are doing everything they can to promote what our High Street has to offer and we are hoping that more traders will join in to allow local people the chance to shop after work and enjoy the experience, the Midsomer Norton Christmas Lantern programmes and Reindeer Sleigh competition sheets can be obtained from these establishments and many others as well.

How late will the shops be opened? I didn't see any places opened last night, and that was just before 9pm when returning from the carnival.
