Man fined for possessing drug in market place

Police who searched a man they saw inside a car with three friends at the Market Place car park in Frome found a quantity of ketamine in his pockets.
Christopher Ford, 20, of Sperring Court, Midsomer Norton, admitted having the Class C drug in his possession on August 8 last year.
He told magistrates he had bought it for £60 to take with him to a festival.
He was fined £105, with £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
