New preferred Midsomer Norton to Farrington cycle route

Campaigners who are putting together plans for a new cycle route between Midsomer Norton and Farrington have a map of where it could go.
People living in Farrington started the campaign because there is no safe route for cyclists and pedestrians along the A362.
It would start where the current Norton-Radstock Greenway ends at Northmead Road, and going behind Tesco follow much of the old railway line all the way to Farrington.
People in Farrington want a safe route into Midsomer Norton so they can get to the shops, post office, and so on. And lots of people in Midsomer Norton also want it as it would be a safe route to the Farrington farm, the Farrington Inn, and the golf club.
Plus it would extend the cycle path which currently ends at Northmead Road.

I think this is a really good idea. The A362 is so dangerous. Let's hope that B&NES see sense and make it happen
