Midsomer Norton 4th XV 31 Corsham 3rd XV 22
The fourths built on their good performance from the previous week with a win over the league leaders.
Kicking off up the slope, the home side were soon into their stride, only to find themselves a try down against the run of play.
Soon afterwards, Corsham extended their lead when they slotted over a penalty.
Norton responded when flanker Zack Stephens went over for a try, only for Corsham to re-establish their lead with a further try before half-time.
Playing down the hill in the second half, the Norton forwards becoming increasingly dominant.
This dominance led to number eight Grant Silk scoring a try to keep the hosts in touch.
More pressure kept Norton in the hunt but their efforts went unrewarded when they had a try disallowed after more hard work from the forwards.
The Corsham backs put together a good move to score and again open up the gap but Norton refused to be beaten.
Two quick tries from Ben Lovegrove and a second from Silk saw Norton take a deserved lead.
Lovegrove then sealed the win just before the final whistle.
