Snow fails to put freeze on Midsomer Norton

Midsomer Norton may have been covered by snow, but it didn't put the chill on residents getting out and enjoying the artic weather.

As schools and offices closed many hit the High Street for some last minute groceries and improptu snowball fights.

Only a few shops opened today as snow covered the ground and roads,  making the High Street a bit trecherous to negotiate as it was difficult to see where the kerb met the road.

Nevertheless, someone cleared a path along the High Street making it easier for people to get out and about.

Will there be more snow on the way?

I saw someone snowboarding down one of hills behind the Greenway on Sunday. It looked like loads of fun. If it snows any more I may give it a go....or at least have a sled ride down hill.

Now I know the answer. More snow tomorrow folks! More chaos to come, and still our rubbish bins won't be emptied!

Great stuff. Does anyone know how long the snow is supposed to last?
