Volunteers needed to help clear Midsomer Norton's Silver Street Nature Reserve

This Sunday volunteers will gather at Midsomer Norton’s , Silver Street Nature Reserve for conservation workday.

Volunteers are needed to help clear scrub at Midsomer Norton's Silver Street Nature Reserve this Sunday
Anyone is welcome to come along from 10am-3pm for an hour or so and gain some practical conservation skills such as coppicing and clearing scrub.
Tools tea and cake will be provided.
Meet at the entrance to the reserve by the noticeboard. Access to the site can be gained via the public footpath off Silver Street, next to the railway station or off Withies Lane or Park Way.
Children are welcome but under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

I read in the Guardian this week about offenders cleaning signs and litter picking as part of their punishment. I personally think this is a great idea, and think they should become involved in projects like this also.
