Don't forget this Sunday is Mother's Day
is Mother’s Day, so here’s a few suggestions to make mum’s day special in
Midsomer Norton.
Why not take
her out to lunch at No 6? There are limited spaces left at the brasserie which
is located at 6 The Island. On Sunday it
is open from noon to 4pm and offers an extensive menu. To book phone 01761
410692. However, if you have a bit more
money to spend, you may want to treat your mum to a delicious dinner at The
Moody Goose in the Church Square.
A photo of
the family would make a great gift, however with it being just a few days away
arranging a sitting may be impossible. Reflections at 1 Mansbrook House, High Street offers a digital photo imaging
service and has a selection of frames to choose from and you can even buy a the
Mother’s Day card and wrapping paper there too.
If your mum’s
taste are leaning towards the more
exotic then drop by Out of Asia and Serenity. Both shops offer a wide array of
beautiful gifts including jewellery.
Price
Jewellers offers more traditional jewellery and has a selection of porcelain and
crystal figurines.
If you want
to pamper mum, she will be spoilt for choice. Revive in Church Square offers a
range of spa treatments as does the Positive Living Centre in the High Street
and Midsummer Tanning and Toning in Holly Court.
And of course
flowers are always a hit. There’s
Bluebells in Holly Court or Miller Ashman at 54 High Street, where I buy most
of my flowers as they offer a great service and fabulous bouquets.
If you know
of a place to buy the perfect Mother’s Day gift, do let us know.
