Are residents apathetic to Norton Radstock Town Council split?

On Monday the first of three consultation meetings were held
to discuss the split of the Norton
Radstock Town Council.
Though there’s been alot of people having their say in the
local press, it appears few care about the move as only 30 residents turned up
to the meeting at St Nicholas School in Radstock.
The early start time of 6pm was to blame for the low turnout
however, last night I was told the
second meeting, held at Midsomer Norton’s
Old Town Hall, numbers were lower than expected.
Could it be the residents are apathetic to the cause?
The next meeting will be held will be held tomorrow (Friday)
at Westhill Gardens Social Club at 6pm.
Residents are invited to submit written opinions to:
Community Governance Review c/o L Thyer, 4th Floor Riverside, Temple
Street, Keynsham, Bristol BS 31 LA.
What do you think about the splitting of the town council?
Are you for it, against it or not bothered?
