    Midsomer Norton Sixth Form has consolidated its first successful year with outstanding A Level results. In the first year of the new Sixth Form students achieved a pass rate of 99% and 30% of the results were either A* or A grades, and over 46% of students achieved B grades or above.     My daughter (Year 10) turned up at Writhlington School yesterday for a GCSE which she has studied for the last year and spent weeks revising for, to be told "oh, sorry, we forgot to enter you, you can't do the exam"! My daughter was upset, and was my wife.  She can do the exam next year and a Deputy Head apologised for the mistake but to say we are angry is an understatement.  Has anyone else had this happen to...

    On the 21st March the renowned artist Mark Karasick came to Somervale School to work with Years 8 and 9 art students. The idea behind this, was to extend the Art Gifted and Talented and for Mark to share his pedagogy. Mark Karasick worked monochromatically with the 20 students on a piece broken into 20 pieces.
